Voting for an Independent Politician

Labour and Liberal party politicians in parliament have to vote yes when they are told to in parliament even if they want to vote no. Women have been voting for male politicians for a very long time and our domestic violence numbers have always increased and never decreased. Why do some women insist on voting for men? Why, I ask myself, why don’t they vote for a woman to represent them in parliament?
If your parents have been voting Labour they have been voting for whomever the Labour party tells them to.
If your parents have been voting Liberal they have been voting for the men the Liberal party tells them to. Are you going to vote for who you are told to or are you going to vote for an independent politician in Australia?
Why are women who have no idea who to vote for voting for men, not women? Why are they not voting for their own gender? An independent politician, untouched by party constraints, embodies a unique voice in Australia's political scene. With a focus on individual values and local needs, they often offer innovative solutions that bridge divides. Their campaigns rely on grassroots support and direct engagement, sidestepping partisan rhetoric. Independent politicians champion bipartisanship, aiming to break through gridlock and enact practical policies. No more voting for who we are told to. No more voting for people and finding out after they are in government that they have deceived us in order to get themselves elected into government.
Hopefully, when they publish their resume and they are campaigning to become a politician through this skrotanising process we will know who they are and what they stand for no more voting for people we are told to by the people who run political parties. Voting for independent candidates offers a chance to break away from traditional party politics. Independents are not bound by party lines, allowing them to focus on local issues and individual values. This democratic choice encourages diverse representation, fostering fresh perspectives, and can lead to a more inclusive and dynamic political landscape.
